?In celebration of Earth Day and National Park Week, the LIBOR Public Relations Committee presented a check for $2500 to Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, on behalf of the ?We?re More Than Realtors? Campaign. The donation will fund a new picnic area by the lake where families will be able to enjoy the outdoors and take advantage of the recreational amenities this park has to offer the thousands of visitors a year that it attracts. The new picnic tables and benches will have plaques placed on them that state they were donated by the Long Island Board of Realtors®.
